Balti vegetable
This kind of curry is traditionally served with Nan rather than rice.
Serves one person. My favourite vegatables to use are: cauliflower, mushroom, spinach or potato. An interesting one is to use kohl rabi. Of course, you can also use dal. Stir-fry the garlic for 15 seconds, add the onion and fry for 1 minute and then the paste. Stir-fry it for 2 minutes more. Add the vegetables and heat through. |
